Fun little kit with heaps of conversion potential

Ace's U1300L Unimog was a fun build. I was converting to a NZ Army version. This included converting to a RHD from LHD (relatively simple). The NZ medical cabin is fabricated locally and can be built using the existing cabin and cutting and transplanting the door to the left. Again a relatively simple change. I subsequently found out the NZ Mogs use wider sand tyres - but meh !

Overall the kit assembly was easy to follow - the only tricky bits being the chassis sub-assemblies where checking the plans carefully pays dividends. Overall fit was ok. Looking forward to future versions.Read full review...
