The pictured items show what seems to be round synthetic sleeves. I received hexagonal aluminum bodied sleeves with a slightly larger rounded hex button head on the end. It's obviously a higher quality sleeve/ holder than pictured but I haven't used them yet to observe any signs of heat transfer.Read full review...

Great for making chainmail
They look and feel great, I haven't used them for soldering but I do use them for making chainmail and they make the job a lot easier when working with small jump rings.
