No flash in the pan!

A standard injection moulded plastic kit which when it featured in Thunderbirds became almost as icon as Concorde! ( it flew on to the tv screen 5 yrs before Concorde took off..). The kit comes in a basic blue colour and was very cleanly moulded with no flash to the parts. All parts need to be separated from the runners with craft knife or cutter then any “pip” smoothed away. The main body goes together without difficulty and then attention can be made to the 4 elevator cars that are included ( as per the first episode of Thunderbirds. Due to their size they are more fiddly to construct but when completed and painted they look as good as the “ real thing” !
As part of the package is a runway base card on which to display the finished models. Fire flash can be modelled with wheels up or down adding to the variety of ways to display the model. For painting the comprehensive instructions give Humbrol paint numbers making it easy to buy the correct colour or to check if you already have the required colours. It is a very neat package hence the 5 star rating
