Quality sound for not a lot.

I already have AKG K702 headphones but they’re open-backed so I got these closed-backed phones so I could listen to my music while the wife watched her telly without us disturbing each other. These K92s go louder than the K702s on my iPad so that’s good. The sound quality of the K702s are slightly better but not by very much. The ear pads are slightly smaller on the K92s but still big enough. They are excellent quality and value for money.Read full review

I expected a lot better from AKG!

They look great, they’re lightweight and comfortable to wear and the build quality seems to be very good… but… and it’s a big “but”! … the sound quality is pretty bad! Very muddy, heavily biased bottom end with virtually no high mids and very thin high end in general. The sound is what matters primarily and these headphones fail here miserably! Read full review

Well priced headphones

I wanted a reasonable priced set of headphones, which delivered good sound quality when listening to my hi-fi and these fit the bill. Well priced and solid with a comfortable self adjusting head strap which feels pretty lightweight. The ear cups are pretty big and bigger than I was expecting, but you soon get used to them. The sound is good and the individual instruments are picked out well, but I think the vocals are sometimes a bit lost in the background. Overall I think they are well worth the money and would recommend them if price is an issue.Read full review

Great sound and value

Previously had the AKG K550 which were more than double the price, these sound just as good and are lighter and more comfortable, the self adjusting headband is genius. Only thing it lacks is a detachable cable, long cable limits you to indoor use.Read full review

Budget Studio Headphones

Balanced, accurate, musical sound from a budget studio headphone . Comfy, lightweight and strong. 3MTR lead may put off some as it's fixed to headphone. 3.5mm jack and full size adapter for HiFi amp. No Bluetooth. Fabulous sound and bargain for budget studio headphones .Read full review

Great Headphones

These headphones have a great music range and auto fit your head! I have a valve pre-amp feeding a solid state power amp, the sound is as good as my Tannoy speakers, a bargain!

Akg k92

Nice, light, took quite a while to "burn in" which transformed it hugely, highs bit overpowering I thought, and lacked bass to middle range.
Compared to my JVC HARX900, no where near, but worth £49 tag.Read full review

Clear and comfortable, a good quality product at a fair price, a delight to use.

Worth every penny....

Surprised at the sound quality considering the price. My only criticism would be the housing is plastic but I guess that's how the keep the cost down. Great starter referencing headphones, lightweight, comfortable and lovely colour less sound. Read full review
