Runs a tad warmer than my previous 3900x but still is a fast cpu

Runs a little warm, even on a Noctua NH D15 around 34-43 degrees Celsius. But during long gaming sessions never goes above 68 degrees.

Incredible and efficient CPU

Incredible and efficient CPU. I'm able to passively cool it all the way up to 3.9ghz on 16 cores. Amazing. Don't clock your ram over 3.6ghz though. There's a weird issue were ram over 3.6ghz actually gets worse results.Read full review

Ryzen 9 5950x

Pretty good cpu, upgraded from a ryzen 5 3600 not a huge improvement but does seam just a tad more snappy. Probably wouldn't be much of an upgrade from say a ryzen 5900. Overall very pleased.

Long-time Intel builder, and I couldn't be happier with this AMD chip. Paired with an MSI Meg X570 Unify and some Trident Z Neo RAM, and things have been awesome.
