lightweight and sturdy
I had an earlier model of this lawn cart and the top lid has always caved in(I weigh 160). It also had an inside carry tray you could stash your tools in and carry around with you in the yard. This model appears to have more stability and firmness and the wheels don't collect dirt inside the rims like the older one did. There is no tray with this(bummer) maybe Ames should rethink that; so I'll just take the tray from the old one. I definitely like the ease of the roll and I feel
this cart is an improvement in strength of the plastic. (I last one for over 3-4 yrs!) I would definitely order this again and I just received this in March. Hope it lasts as long as the other.Read full review

Best little cart in the world....
I used to have one just like it for 20 years t our country home. The latches finally gave out, but I still used it for planting. It's wonderful for sitting and rolling. I am so happy to have found another one just like it. Since I'm disabled, it's perfect for me to 'sit and sow'. Thank you again for making it available.

Ames Lawn Buddy Cart
Yep! it's my Lawn Buddy, I can pack all my tools in it & get my jobs done. Living on the side of a Mt. w/a steep lawn hauling from back to front was okay in my younger days but now I pack it all in tools in it (actually store them in it) and off I go. I wish it were water tight that would've nice but it's no problem bringing it in the basement. I even pack it in trunk when I go to do Cemeteries. Won't all the flowers but the all the rest & when you do 4 Cemeteries you have to take your tools, etc.
Yep! I like it & one more thing, I know where my stuff is nothing vanishes anymore.
I haven't used for sitting yet but I'm sure if I have too it will hold me.
Love the it so much that & my Gorilla Cart, my two right hand men! Read full review

Great for Gardening
The original Ames cart was better as it had an interior tray as well as exterior hooks. The hooks were perfect for rakes, shovels, etc. If you are new to the Ames Cart then you won't miss these items. Fortunately, I saved my original tray and my husband removed the hooks from my old cart and put them on this new one.Read full review
Great Helper in the Garden
My wife and I are both over 65 and gravity seems to be much stronger than it used to be. Neither of us can bend or reach in the garden and around the yard like we once could. With this cart we can sit and do many of the things we used to bend or kneel to do. The cart also makes a handy storage bin for you gloves, clippers etc. that you routinely use in the yard. We like it so much we recently bought a second cart so that we both have one and now can both work at the same time in different part of the yard. Read full review

Great versatile value!
Great little yard multi-tool. It's a wheelbarrow, a tool tote, and a gardening seat all in one, and on wheels to boot. Though lightweight its well built, and has handled everything we have thrown at it so far. And the topper is, the wife loves. Definitely worth the money.Read full review
