Bought this to keep an eye on my new ducks whose house is situated out of direct site behind a shed. I didn't get to fit it til after I'd had it a few days and when I unboxed I was pleased with the build quality. Setting it up in the right position was the longest part, actually setting the camera up and getting it working was a breeze taking only ,minutes. The instructions weren't the best but fairly idiot proof so I got through lol, once the phone app was installed it only took me a couple of attempts to add the camera and figure out how to view it. I'm impressed all round, picture quality's great in the day or night, especially the night, seems to give about 10mtrs of clear night vision, and a decent wide viewing angle. not straight forward
Instructions are not very good and you have to set it up with a Lan lead (ethernet cable).Power lead is very short.The reset button is inside the camera so if you are running it wireless and have any trouble with the WiFi signal get your ladders and long ethernet cable ready.The time keeps changing to a different time zone. on the plus side picture quality is quite good. Very good picture and easy to set up. 2.5mm coax plug 12v 1A power connection but ethernet socket in the connector cable wiring loom means 16mm hole required - although you could cut it off! Dont forget to buy a micro sd card. Lead is a bit on the short side but can easily pick up a longer lead online or at electrical shop or use extension depending where you are putting it but very pleased with it.
