Small but very good 3D printer
Perfect printer for hobby printing. Easy to use and maintenance. Require some basic knowledge about 3D programs (not included but lots of free on Web). Lots of materials to choose from (not recomand plant based UV resins). Printing space is enough to print large model in one go. For behemoths is good to split on few parts with some 3d software. Prints time is depended from model high. Good position on slicing program can save lot of it.Read full review

Reliable, well built but not without its faults.
The original Photon printer has its faults but is reliable and well made. The later S version has some of the faults fixed but comes with terrible build quality, which is why I went for the earlier version.
The faults are a sloppy Z axis, which can be adjusted but with a fair bit of dismantling. Full instructions by Aycubic are available on Youtube, its not hard to do. The other main fault is that the light array is too centralised and does not print well in the last 10mm at each end of the build area. The light array can be replaced with the one from the Photon S which cures the problem, or just don't print at the extrreme ends of the area, like I do.Read full review

A Review
Works very well. Need to put it somewhere with good ventillation and away from food and drink. Well worth buying up extra supplies like: disposable gloves, filters and ethanol or white spirit. Also a good idea to have a tray underneath the front of the device so when you open the device and remove the print you don't get resin dripping onto the floor or table. Anycubic's youtube videos on the operation and cleaning of the device are very useful.Read full review
