Breathe Easier....
Even small clouds can cause a power outage in our small town. Recently, we had a severe power drop with several on and off events within a few seconds. This event cost several people who were plugged into a wall socket their PC;s. I was lucky to have been plugged into a surge protector. I decided to invest in a back up power supply just in case. The APC unit was recommended by a computer guru friend. I purchased my UPS and had it set up and working in less than 20 minutes. Once the software was downloaded, I took that deep breath of comfort.
