I can only offer 4 stars however because the long edges do not come up straight which leaves gaps in your floor and also the handles are a great idea for handling the mats into position, but then the leave a soft spot in your floor! I’d read reviews about wonky edges which almost put me off, the seller assured me that all edges would be straight - and they were.
The mats are pretty heavy and very solid under foot, they cut easily with a new stanly knife blade and there are no nasty lingering smells once installed. I have 5 mats covering my gym floor and use the space for a half rack and free weights, spin bike and core exercises etc. The noise reduction and stability they create is really good.
