Can now get full speed out of my connection.
Came quickly - faster than expected.
Works great. I'm now able to get 100Mbps vs. my old SB6818.

Great internet speed for business users
My old modem was too slow and I was paying for a very high speed Internet. I don’t play games so I don’t need the highest download speeds and most expensive modem. This one is just right. Immediately noticeable improvement over my last Arris Surfboard. Great with Apple Extreme router, too.Read full review

Amazingly Great!!!
I had 2nd thoughts after ordering due to all the reviews I read, but it was easy to set up & with Comcast service my speeds have increased tremendously. I have had no issues at all and I would easily recommend this modem. The download speeds when I do the speed test from multiple sources are all over 200 Mbps.Read full review
Time Warner 300Mbps
I bought this as an upgrade to my SD6141. The overhead on this modem allows me to take advantage of the network upgrades that are happening in my neighborhood, and I am now getting 300Mbps where my 6141 maxed out at ~100Mbps.
The throughput is solid, and the initial setup with TWC required a few reboots until the device registered on their end. All in all it is essentially plug (and phonecall) and play.
Be sure that your router is capable of WAN- LAN speeds which match this. Many 802.11n generation routers WAN throughput tops out at 50-100Mbps. Just check the specs or benchmarks for your router. If non exist, then the router is probably too cheap or obscure and isnt designed for that type of WAN throughput to begin with.
Should be a good modem for this generation and one more. I expect to get at least 5 years from it (~2016-2021).Read full review

Great Value
Great value. Works well.
One complaint is that it boots up VERY slow (about 3 minutes until connected), but as long as your internet stays live most of the time, this isn't a big deal. (For reference I had borrowed a temporary newer version and it was connected in about 30s-1min.)
This one is about 3-4 years old, but it should still last several years like my last one did, saving hundreds.Read full review

Great Modem
The modem works like a champ, decided to use it in place of my 3.1 and I get the same speed. I don''t have gig speed because I don't need it . so I figured why use my 3.1 if I don't have to ! at times there are at lease 14 devices connected to my system with no buffering. I would say buy one if only for a backup .Read full review

Good alternative to renting a modem!
My cable provider is Wide Open West AKA WOW in Columbus, OH. This modem performs flawlessly and I see 100% of my subscribed bandwidth 300M down and 30M up using Speedtest. All 28 channels are locked in and spot on within spec:
-4.40 dBmv Downstream Power 0.20 bDmv
38.61 dB SNR 40.37 dB
45.25dBmv Upstream Power 47.25dBmv
At the purchase price I will save $20 the first year and $120 each year after that. If you stay in the same place for a long time, it really pays to purchase your own modem. My last SURFboard saved me over $540 and I sold it for $50 when I upgraded service to 300M.
5-Star product all the way.Read full review

Mostly good.
Well, guess best way to describe is that jury is partially still out. All seemed fine, then had some sluggish internet early in the day a couple morning in a row. Spectrum tech came out, blamed it on the new modem.
I am not convinced. Been fine since and prior. And I think the problem predated the modem.
Also, modem non-returnable, which was made clear in the purchase, so not inclined to go out and buy yet another one.
Plus wouldn't put it past Spectrum to tweak it down to nudge you into upping your plan.Read full review

Works Great but still trying out.
Was very easy to install and connect with cable provider.I can't give 5 star because I haven't had long enough. The modem has worked as intended but after a few weeks I had to reset once, haven't had any issues since then.I like that it is so small and does alot.I recommend this product.:)Read full review

Yes it's DOCSIS 3.0 but it is fast!
Replaced older DOCSIS 3.0 modem with only 8/2 channel bonding that could not reach 300.
Comcast has my service billed as 300D but with the SB6190 testmy.net is reporting 370D !!
If you don't need or want to spend the big $ for DOCSIS 3.1, this is the way to go.
btw, a Comcast tech informed me the SB6190 will handle 1G with ease.Read full review
