Great value product that you can improve if you choose.

I wanted a router that was able to support a VPN client Out of the box this router will, but I wanted to run an openvpn client for its encryption capabilities.
I flashed the ASUS-wrt Merlin firmware that is based on ASUS own firmware but with an Open VPN client that I wanted.
I was successful in setting up the router and it performs very well as I had hoped.
All of my home network now runs transparently through the VPN.

This is a top-class piece of kit, and costs less than the AC67U. The web interface isn't the greatest piece of design work I've ever seen, but's it's usable, and sure beats that Virgin SuperHub interface!
The shipped firmware had some issues with 802.11n devices doing 11n speeds (had to switch everything to 11g mode) but a firmware update fixed that.Read full review...
