Poor quality of the instructions

The phone is not bad. I lowered the rating because of the poor quality of the instructions. How can you include 2 sections on memorizing phone numbers in the instructions and not write a word about how to reproduce the saved numbers. I remembered several numbers to quickly access without dialing, but I still can not reproduce any of the memorized numbers. Maybe AT&T will respond to me for this not entirely positive review.Read full review

1st Att. Phone and best phone I have purchased.

New sealed AT&T TR1909B Trimline Corded Phone.

Lighted Dial is great and easy to read and light weight.
Voice and sound adjustments, 3 positions stay adjusted, they don't move easily.
I like the ringer and handset It's light and fits hand well.

Good phone with caller ID screen

I bought this phone because I wanted a caller ID screen which my old phone did not have. This phone has a screen but it is small and difficult to read. Still it is better than nothing so I can mostly avoid picking up the phone when I do not recognize the caller.( PS You must insert the batteries for the screen to work.)Read full review

Perfect for a second line in the kitchen

Works perfect as a second landline phone in the kitchen. Always good to have a corded phone in case the power goes out. Good sound and fits perfect on the wall. The only thing I wish it had was a lighted caller id, other than that it's a great phone for the price.Read full review

Perfect replacement

The AT&T Trimline corded is a perfect "old school" replacement for my previous corded telephone and would have given it a perfect score if not for the very short cord from handset to base (luckily I kept my previous cord). Otherwise the phone is perfect for my needs (in the event I lose battery power in my cordless).Read full review

Packing mishap

Item was sent in a plastic bag only and was quite banged up. The cord was very short, and the cord itself did not work. I replaced the cord, and the sound quality was poor. It sounded as if you were in a tunnel. The Caller ID takes batteries, and it works well. You can also store phone numbers in the phone itself. I am not sure if the phone itself was damaged in shipping as it was only in a bag, no box or protective wrap. Read full review
