Must Have For Enfield Shooters

This scope mount is the easy solution to the problem of Enfield No. 4 MK 1 and 2 rifles shooting high, an inherent problem in these models due to the design of the battle sights which were made for long range trench shooting. The Enfield battle sights make it difficult to hit a target accurately below 300 yards, which even beyond that is challenge enough at such far distance. The scope mount allows for easy installation without having to drill any holes. The rail is long enough to mount any scope or red dot sights which will then allow you to shoot your vintage Enfield rifle with modern accuracy. The video on how to mount this product is easily found on line and it only takes a few minutes. I almost gave up on shooting my old rifle and now I am getting great accuracy thanks to this mount and the scope I am using. I recommend getting one and a good scope if you have experienced the frustration of being on target with an otherwise legendary gun. They go very well together.Read full review

British 303

I searched for many years to find the right scope mount for my rifel I was always told that I would have to take my rifel to a gun smith to have a mount drilled and taped Wichita would have costs a pretty good chunk of change than I found this mount and it worked beautifully can't wait to try it out thank you.Read full review

Good Fit

seems like a good buy - my only question is if it will stay "locked" and not slip up when I fire the gun with the scope on it because the front is held by 2 set screws against a flat "wall" - there are no complaints so far from other postings - so I expect this to work just fineRead full review

No. 4 MK2 Scope mount for Lee Enfield

Had to remove rear sight. Took tiny pin out , slided the bigger pin out (just pop it out as is not a screw, looks like one but it just slides out).

Be smooth about the 2 rear screws, follow instructions. Took me a moment to understand how the other 2 front set screws work. Don't analyse it, just do them in as instructed, it will make sense to you later.

My MK 2 now has and old Weaver 1 inch K2.5 C3 and looks marvelous, thanks for a nice economical solution. (Almost like the one used by the sniper on "The Siege of Jadotville" in Netflix.

No complaints so far!

Seems like a good sturdy mount. Planning on a couple dabs of pink(low strength) LocTite. 10 minutes after opening the package, grandpa's old war trophy was ready for the range. Downside, can't blame shot inconsistancy on the peep sight any more. Ha ha ha!Read full review

Awesome mount!!

This scope mount turned out much better than I had anticipated. Fits really nice and tight like a scope mount should. It is one of the cheaper ones on the market for the Enfield .303 but definitely worth it for the price. My dad bought one for his after we took mine out and sighted in my scope on it.Read full review

British 303 scope mount

Easy to install and rock solid on my British 303 jungle carbine. Does not get in the way of the bolt action at all.
