Dressing Table Review

Product arrived in good time, was very easy to assemble and supplied at a good price too. Only two minor issues to report. Firstly there was a slight dint on the corner of the table top section which required a quick touch up (needed better packaging) and the two steel side screws are visible once assembled. Perhaps two white cover caps could be included in the parts list to give the product a more prestigious, final appearance. Overall I am generally happy.Read full review

Not the greatest quality...

I have just finished putting together this dressing table as a surprise birthday present for my 7 year old daughter. It's not the best quality in regards to the finish (rough paint work, etc) but it did go together fairly easily with just myself assembling. There is an issue with the mirror struts being too wide for the mirror which in turn puts extra pressure on the screws securing the uprights and I'm sure in time will need some attention/strengthening. The item is slightly different from the pictures provided (there is no shelf below the mirror) but this is not a real problem. There is a stain (oil I guess) on the cream seat cushion on unpacking but I'm sure this would come out with some upholstery cleaner..?! All in all it is not worth the money at full price but with 50% off it is just fine for my daughter, although it really should have a better finish to it.

Good value and easy to make

Bought for our teenage granddaughter for Christmas I think she will love it. Arrived well packaged with plenty of Polystyrene and a set of instructions. The writing on the instructions was very small. It was easy to put together and the top of the stool is very nice material. The knobs were imitation crystal so I bought some nice crystal ones but they would do, I'm just picky. For the money I felt it was good value.Read full review

Finish isn't great and rough in visible areas and paintwork could have been better with marks on multiple parts. Main issue was the pre drilled holes and plugs in the mirror framework that are not central so when assembled the arms supporting the mirror bend inwards preventing the tilting of the mirror. Fantastic and great value

I brought this dressing table and it arrived really quickly! I’ve just moved house so have been doing flat packed DIY and this was the most straightforward and easy item to put together. Some of the screws are not as tight as I would like. And I had to change the handle knobs due to one of them being losse. But for the price I paid I can’t fault it. Good but disappointed

I bought this a few months before Christmas, when it arrived, I stored it as it was a birthday gift, since we've built it in early January,the stool was missing the holes for the screws to attach one of the legs, there was a crack in the wood, the front right leg is wobbly and the stool has broke 3 times, I love the vanity, as does my child, but unfortunately the wood is of poor quality especially when it was missing the holes for the fixings. And I'm left feeling disappointed with my purchase

Looks nice, though small issues

Arrived well packaged, the legs didn’t match up to the holes very well and has slight gap on one leg, which isn’t to much of a problem. Lacking in quality but not bad for the price I suppose

Most of the parts had minor damage, others were in worse condition (scratches, chips etc.) and overall the paint finish was quite bad in places - overspray, drips, some areas missing paint altogether!

I don't think there has been any kind of quality control in the factory.

For the price however, you will struggle to beat it and since it's going in our teenage duaghter's room and will probably be replaced in 12 months/covered in makeup; we decided to keep it.

If you want good quality, I suggest you avoid this and buy something about 3 times the price.Read full review
