Life mismatch between sensor and body

The body is good for 10 years but the sensor is only good for 5 years. Better and cheaper to get a 10 year battery type which is cheaper than a replacement sensor

One of the better mains electric Carbon Monoxide alarms. Good battery longevity and back-up time. However, it has two key faults:
a. The unit does not have a cut away point for and an electric cable and therefore does not sit flush with the surface when wall mounted.
