wish I had bought sooner.
I have chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. I spend over 80% of my time bedbound. the aid has helped considerably. firstly it lifts weight of quilt off my legs when I have leg pain. Secondly it keeps me cool and bed aired in summer months. lastly as I am small frame/weight it is useful for resting my legs on when in cramp or needing blood flow. it also is useful to pull myself up from laying down position.
Only regret is not getting sooner.
I can also say this is suitable for a very deep mattress mine is at least 40cm and frame still gives space on highest adjustment. Read full review...

Why did I wait so long

Thus product is fantastic. I meant to get one after u came out of hospital over 2 years ago but after having shingles last month the pain made my mind up once and for all. The item is adjustable in height.you can put it where you want it. I have mine halfway between the bottom and the pillow. Made Huge Difference
Bought as a present for a gentleman with gout. He has said it's a godsend. He had been in so much pain until he received this and now he can sleep. Wishes he'd had it month ago. Read the other reviews and placed it at the bottom of the bed, but at the side. He doesn't notice it's there and he can turn without bashing it. Bought this for my Dad who suffers with gout in his whole foot up to his knee. He can't bear anything touching his skin but needs the covers over him in bed to keep warm. This is absolutely perfect! It slots under the mattress on the end of the bed, meaning he can get in and out without banging into it. He just puts an extra blanket over the top of it to avoid any draughts but it holds all the covers away from his painful feet and legs. drastically reduced discomfort
