This unit is larger and holds more water than my other humidifier.
I like the fact that it does hold 3 gallons+.
This model has 2 straight wicks.
Seems to work really nice for the winter months and heat running .
It's plastic so you won't want your kids climbing or standing on it.
Led display shows fan speed and humidity room and set level.

In my part of the country the weather has been so damp since I got the unit so I really cannot say at this time how good it is.

17-April-2016 Follow-up: I did not realize that the wicks would need to be changed so often. This is a smaller unit then the one I had previously. That unit held 6 gallons of water and I used two wicks over the winter. You should probably be changing the wicks in this unit monthly. It's a big added expense which downgrades my opinion of the unit to OK. I may try and sell this for a larger unit before next winter.Read full review
