MY REVIEW OF aIRFIX AND THE NEW aVRO lANCASTER BOMBER IN 1/72 SCALE.

I've been building model kits for many years now. I was shocked and not very surprised, when Hornby bought the company! They are doing a very good job of turning them around, with many new kits. Unfortunately they have moved production outside of the country, where supply cannot always be guaranteed on time
This mould is sometimes one of the slower ones. It is an exceptionally good mould, I do think a little over engineered for the younger modeller just starting.

Second kit to be built by one of my grandsons aged 12. Did very well, not complete yet. I build model railways and gave him a view tips I have picked up over the years but he is doing the building.
