This is my first ukelele. After some researching I decided on the Aklot. I believe I made a excellent purchase for a beginner.
The solid body of mahogany was a wise choice. It not only looks great but it also sounds mellow and sweet.
The tuning gears are the better choice. The only thing I may change is the action of the strings by lowering the saddle just a bit.
The tuner and case are excellent plus the strap that comes with the package.
The only other slight challenge is the way the strings are attached to the bridge. I have never seen it that way. I do play some guitar and so I know alittle about changing strings. I went on u tube and seen how it's done.

Nice Uke

I bought this Ukulele for my Granddaughter for Christmas and when I tuned it up and played it to check out it's sound and playability I was totally blown away. The build quality and the look of it is awesome, from the high ratio tuners and the bone nut to the dove shaped bridge and string thru design, it also resonates beautifully due to the solid mahogany top and the string action is perfect for kids and adults alike. I own another well known uke that is also a nice instrument but I am definitely going to buy one of these for myself, definitely a great ukulele and especially at this price point, if you are considering this uke, go ahead and buy it, you wont be sorry, oh and all the extras that it comes with are very good quality and just icing on the cake.Read full review

I Love it!
