Great movies from the late 80s

Alien Nation is a great movie.

The TV series which ran in the late 80s and i think early 90s is great too.

Wish they would revive both and start making more movies and create a series.

ALIEN NATION THE MOVIE

I can rate this film no less than excellent ..i have enjoyed it over and over again since its release and before dvd owned it and the spin off tv series on vhs tapes ..if you havnt yet seen the tv series i advise you to do so ...i did'nt think changing james caan would work but it did and i still enjoy continuous viewing of these dvds nowRead full review...

Alien Nation-Pure Classic science fiction

Alien Nation staring James Caan,and a few other well known american actors is a great film.why well having seen a few different films along similar lines ie aliens invade earth,earth and the inhabits of earth try to get along with the new arrivals and what happens etc
This Film in particular isnt much different we have a storyline consisting around James Caan cop character and his partner in the force but at the start when his partner is shot in a drug/store robbery he is then given a newcomer (alien) as his new partner which being the guy that he portrays in this film gets a instant dislike to and it goes from there
For the science fiction and those who love aliens and science fiction you will differently like this film has it has action,special effects and so forth in it
I rather like it myself as i am into science fiction etc and at first i thought it would be like the other science fiction films i have previously seen but it isnt and i recomend you should see it for your selfRead full review...

Alien Nation

A good watch for any fan of either science fiction or just action movies in general. James Caan steals the show with his tough guy role in this gritty film. This movie screems 1980's when you watch it, but that does not detract from the enjoyment. Caan has you laughing and gulping as this roller-coaster adventure unfolds. Even if you're not fond of science fiction, this film is still worth watching. It is surprising and dissappointing that there was never a sequel.Read full review...

Alien Nation DVD Sci-Fi classic

Giving prejudice another airing, this film brings an up to date (for its time) feel to an age old story. I don't normally like James Caan, but in this he fits the lead character like a glove. A fabulous buddy movie, eventually. I am in the process of changing my video collection to DVD and also expanding said collection. I remembered enjoying this film when it came out at the cinema and was delighted when found it on offer on e-bay.Read full review...
