Set up was easier than expected. Very clear step instructions displayed on the tv. I was a little concerned that paid services could be purchased by other users but I was able to lock out that option with use of a pin no. My Honest Opinion of An Amazon 4K Fire Stick
Amazon 4K Ultra HDR Fire Stick with Alexa Voice is a Device where one needs firstly a Modern TV in other words the more updated your TV is the better also it mainly uses Wifi Internet Connection however one can purchase a gadget via the Net & connect Ethernet which gives one a stronger Internet feed than Wifi also one can purchase a TP Link Wifi Booster Device via ebay which will make your Wifi Signal more Stable if your Router (Rooter) is not in the same room as your TV there is a lot of useful & good tips & advice via You-Tube if you type in the search Column 4K Fire Stick you will see a list of people giving useful tips & advice there is also a Fire Stick User Manual if you carefully go through the Settings Options you will find what I'm referring too the Fire Stick Manual embedded in the Settings Options also gives useful tips & advice on how to get the best use out of ones Fire Stick although there is also a fellow on You-Tube who shows you where to switch off Applications (Apps) that one does not use nor intends to use so therefore this will speed up ones Fire Stick Operation by Disabling said Apps that one will not use in other words it will speed up ones Fire Stick Processor & make it operate more smoothly also avoid filling its small Storage Chip under 5GB with Clutter in other words Downloads that one hardly ever uses cause this can also slow ones stick operations as well however one can Uninstall said useless Apps/Programmes from ones Fire Stick via 'Settings" & In Settings Show All Apps & then Scroll down said Window open the items that one wants to uninstall & select unstall option & confirm & this will remove the app/programme one wants removed also in said same Window one can "Disable" apps/programmes that one does not use to speed up said stick as well there is also useful tips on You-Tube as regards to which apps/programmes one can install on ones stick so to summarise the said stick yes its a useful device after perseverance & patience one can get useful usage & enjoyment from said device/stick although to be honest with you all yes I've got one however I don't use it cause I have another device which I prefer to use for the same Entertainment & Enjoyment via ones TV
the mentioned stick/device basically converts ones TV into a Smart TV via The Net & gives the TV Viewer wider choice & selection once said stick is set up properly with all the useful apps/programmes that are available over the Net one will see shat I'm referring too as regards to turning ones TV into a Smart TV via the Net so for value for money well for just under £40 which is not a lot of money nowadays is it worth a punt? the answer to that is yes although its not the only device out there that turns ones TV into a Smart TV it is a very useful device/tool

We are not particularly Tech savvy.

We had 4 decent TVs between us however no Smart TV.
Why buy a Smart TV when the Firestick product will do the job at 10th of the price 🤔
With no knowledge on the product, I doubt that you would be able to complete set up without assistance.
Now set up ( after a fair amount of muttering).
Necessary to set up a number of apps...non of which I will opt to pay for.
Will take a bit of getting used to.
