History not often taught in school

I purchased the 'America- The story of us' for my two kids 7, and 11. The story of America is not often detailed to the level in schools any longer, and this tells the greatness of our country. I learned a few things, but enjoyed watching my two kids learn from it. They actually want to watch this DVD set as it is engaging and entertaining for the. Perfect for supplementing a US history class - pretty balanced, factually accurate, and engaging enough to use to introduce concepts and help tie them together for students.
