Learning the Lifestyle of a Yakuza

Viggo Mortensen plays the "American Yakuza" in another great portrayal by the actor. He is undercover to find out why there is a war going on between a Mafia group and a Japanese group identified as the "yakuza". A former con, Viggo saves the life of a Japanese businessman, who takes him under his wing. The result is Viggo becomes fascinated with being a businessman and the Yakuza lifestyle. He falls for a Japanese woman too. Conflict arises when his FBI boss (played by Robert Forster) decides to take punitive action. I really enjoyed this movie and the story behind it.
