Good quality, well worth carrying on camping trips - "Just-in-case".

I have always carried a Bivvy Bag when camping, "Just-in-case". I find it especially useful when the weather takes a rapid drop in temperature. A Three-Season Sleeping Bag, with Liner and a Foil Sheet can be turned into a Four-Season bag via the expedience of using one's Bivvy Bag. Unlike many brave souls, I haven't used my Bivvy in lieu of a tent. The quality is good and the bag takes up very little room. Definitely worth carrying.Read full review...

Curious design fault

Haven't used it yet, looks well made and waterproof, is light and very compact when packed.

The design flaw: the exterior weather flap for the zip that runs the length of the bag on one side, is attached below the zip. This configuration will collect rain water next to the zip, rather than diverting rainwater away from the zip. Madness.

I still intend to use it though, but I'll take some gaffer tape with me.

Not bad at all.

I haven't tried it, yet. It is a nice looking piece of kit, though, and it seems ideal. Certainly, it appears and feels of good quality. It's compact and light. I intend to carry it with my sleeping bag, mat and liner inside it, and then the lot rolled up together and packed inside a waterproof, Swiss Army bivvy bag sack. I bought it to use inside my single skinned army tent because it does gather condensation a drips it onto my sleeping bag. There's nothing worse than waking at 3 am feeling damp and cold from a wet sleeping bag; it's part of a recipe for disaster. I also wanted it for use underneath a tarp, possibly even on top of a ground sheet; so I'm confident it will handle those situations well.
In brief, I love it, even though I haven't tried it yet. My 50 years of hiking and wild camping experience tells me this is a must for the backpack. My sharp eye for detail tells me this is a good piece of kit. Recommended.

Bag performance

Massive condensation problem my inner bag was soaking by dawn in my opinion it's waterproof qualities create and trap the moisture inside a total waste of money lesson learned i should have been more carefullRead full review...
