Don't waste your money!

What a disappointment!!! Could only last ten minutes of this dire, unfunny and utterly miserable DVD. I thought this character hilarious on Shooting Stars, but he hasn't enough material to do a stage show.Read full review...

Worth it for the Bob Mortimer interview alone.

Maybe poppy should stick to Jim Davidson and Roy Chubby Brown videos. Cheers

Worth a punt if price is right..

Well, after see the mighty Angelos steal the show in the recent Shooting Stars series, I was both intrigued and looking forward to seeing what he was capable of on his own.
To be honest I felt a little let down as his show failed deliver constant laugh out load moments.
Even so, just looking at Angelos in his Italian designer clothing (he shops in Charity shops in Rome as they are better quality!)and carrying his standard Netto's carrier bag still brings a laugh... but this alone cannot carry him through a whole stand up routine.
There were some funny moments, but on the whole I can say at best this was fairly average comedy fodder. In fact the extras on the DVD are very funny... especially the interview with Bob Mortimer!
I think Angelos can do better, and would like to see him in a situation comedy.... but as stated I do not think stand up is his forte.
Still love the guy though, and would recommend anyone having a look at this DVD but simply not worth paying top dollar for.
Thanks for reading my review...

Kebab van man makes you laugh.

If you enjoyed Dan Skinner's funny creation, Angelos Epithemiou, on television then this DVD is for you. It's different from your usual stand ups, with plenty of interaction with the audience. The friends are just on a screen and it is just him on stage. The extras include him being interviewed by Bob Mortimer.Read full review...
