Works & works fast

As for "Pros" it is fast. I mean really fast compared to my other card readers. I do a lot of video and pictures for clients so sometimes have cards nearly full and transfer can be awful. As a test I transferred about 1GB of pictures to my computer and it literally took less than 2 seconds. Mind you that I do have the new m2 pcie 4.0 hard drive and motherboard computer which is insanely fast so that may have something to do with it too. It Works.

It's great for putting files on an SD card for an Android tablet or smart phone from your computer. But first format your SD card as external memory in the Android tablet or smart phone then put the files on it. That way if your Android dies the files will still be on the SD card. Unplug the card reader from your computer as soon as you get the files transferred so the card reader does not die. Read full review

Great adapter

I bought this because my iPad keyboard has built-in USB ports. This topped off a great setup to use my iPad pro as a laptop. I very much enjoy that I can read and write 2 cards simultaneously.

Performance is good, but much less than Sandisk Extreme PRO Card Reader - External (SDDR-329-A46):
Anker: 41 MB/sec read, 36 MB/sec write
SanDisk: 82 MB/sec read, 54 MB/sec write

Perfect for camera transfers to PC

Works great, however not as advertized.

I needed it for a specific card. It did have a SD slot. However, I don't see how it could handle 8.
It has a SD slot and a Micro SD slot only. In my case, it's what I needed. If you had any other needs, you are sol.
