Good quality picture

My nearest broadcasting station is 58 miles. The antenna was relatively easy to assemble.
However, I did have to refer to diagrams of the assembled antenna to clarify the written instructions. The unit appears to be made of quality materials. I get over 40 channels of programming. However, an antenna tuning website thought I should get up to 58 channels. The best part of this antenna is not having to constantly fine tune the rotation of the antenna as I did in the past with a directional antenna.Read full review

Okay over the air performance

Buying this article as an open box item worked out well. One could see that the antenna had been assembled before but then was returned. The OEM box came complete, the manual allows for easy assembly but seems to have one flaw where we needed to divert from the depicted sequence of assembly. There is only one cable boot included, ideally there should be two, the manufacturer does not carry them so we will need to go elsewhere. Installing the antenna on our roof with a map from TV Fool and a compass worked well. The TV towers for our location are 37 miles away, so well within the advertised range of 70 miles. We are pulling in quite a number of channels but disappointingly only very few of them are actually depicting a crisp picture. We will try using a different type of TV antennas to see whether the reception can be improved.Read full review

Not bad but 70 mile range I don't think so!

Pretty easy to assemble and install. I was only able to get 7 good channels in the Monticello Indiana area. The main tower for Lafayette is 36 miles Indianapolis, Indiana networks are 63 miles the ones I would like to get are unachievable I tried a amplifier with no luck so the 70 mile range for me is bogus. The Lafayette market channels are very clear better than cable.Read full review

Antenna works great

This antenna works great I should have purchased it 2 years ago. I had a quality indoor antenna that picked up 22 channels before I purchased this ClearStream4 antenna; I now receive 61 channel and the picture is nice and clear. Stations that are out past 75 miles or so will fad in picture quality, but stations that are 45 miles from my house come in strong and clear. I mounted my antenna on the roof of my garage about 20 feet above ground level.Read full review

Fine tuning signal

I found that the assembly of the antenna parts was fairly easy to do. I put the antenna in the attic. Pointed in the direction of Chicago, about 35 miles away. The picture quality, and color is absolutely beautiful. All the HD channels are perfect. I have a very minor picture break up on channel 5 NBC. I will have to adjust the antenna. Over all i would recommend this antenna. New Lenox Il.Read full review

very nice

This is the best antenna I have tried. had a couple inside antennas, 1 cheep ,1 highly rated. The I decided to get an out door cheep one. This Clear Stream Is by far the best. easy assembly. Gets way more Channels than the cheep out door, mounted on the same pole. The construction is good for this level of antenna. Very good value. I recommend it if you want to try an out side antenna.
As I have found out where you live, distance from broad cast towers, factor in with your reception.

OK Antennae with Missing Parts

Antenna is a pain to put together. It works well once it is aimed in the direction of the TV stations. I am about 40 miles from major stations. You need a strong pole. Wind affects your reception. Stations will break up in heavy wind. The two foot cable to connect the two antennas was missing, I had one from an old antennae. It would have been costly to send back.Read full review

Good Value, Works as Expected.. needs just one thing

Easy to assemble, directions are relatively clear as well. Seem to be made of strong durable materials with one exception.. the Pivot Base should be a heavier Gauge Metal because the array catches the wind, and huge Ravens like to sit on it.. combined the Pivot Base bends.. I added gussets at the 90's to help..

The Antenna works well.. just need to get it setup pointing at the desired transmitters.

Antenna Direct C4-V- CJM in/outdoor Antenna

Great Antena, I live 60+ miles from most transmitting towers in any direction. The antenna would detect the station’s but signal was to weak to view picture. I knew this when I purchased the antenna, so I also purchased a adjustable 17 -30 dB Adjustable gain TV antenna signal amplifier. The Amp is a channel master CM 7777 HDR. I was able to receive ( not 8-10 channel’s) but 38 channel’s from around 18-20 ft. Off the ground. If your looking to cut the cable cord, this is a good option.Read full review

Antenna Works Great For My Circumstances

I had done some homework before ordering, and it fit my needs as expected. It was fairly easy to put together, and, most importantly, it actually worked for my particular circumstances, geographic location, etc. Know what your needs are as best you can before ordering an antenna.Read full review
