These soldering irons are just as good and reliable and last just as long as Weller-irons, that cost 3 times the price of the Antex. The same for the replacement tips.
I also have a temperature controlled one, which i can regulate myself, which I prefer over the
automatically controlled soldering irons. Please keep making them.
There are 2 small issues: the screw that holds the tip in sticks out, which makes them unsuitable for a heavier stand and sometimes the heat of the shafts melts the handle a bit.Read full review

This is nice big soldering iron and performs as expected in that it does a good job. it runs very hot as it is intended to be used with lead free solder. A bit to hot for my preference.
