This movie is the Moneyball of football

This is my favorite football movie because it really shows what goes on behind the scenes. The acting is spectacular, Al Pacino and Jamie Foxx were fantastic as were the otheractors who I normally don't rush out to see. Gritty & Intriguing

This movie is a gritty and intriguing look into the life of professional athletes. I believe that it paints a pretty accurate portrayal of the moral dilemmas that everyone directly involved in professional athletics is faced with at any given point in time. As a female that can follow a football game easier than any other professional sport, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and it is not exclusively because of the full frontal nudity locker room scene either.Read full review...

Probably my most favorite football movie. Oliver Stone creates a very visually engaging story with an amazing soundtrack that is almost operatic in the way it marries the imagery and music to heightened dramatic effect. Many great performances - Al Pacino, Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz - to name a few, yet very much an ensemble feel. Definitely the whole being greater that the sum of its parts.Read full review...
