Disappointed

Since receiving this iPad I have tried SIM cards from all the major providers to no avail. After some research it appears the iPad 2 was plagued with SIM card reader issues from new.
So I paid for an unlocked pad which cannot be used with a SIM card.
The vendors were asked to try a SIM card in a stock iPad which they haven't done, requesting that I go to the expense of sending my pad back to them first.

Given the cost of a SIM card to verify they have an iPad with this device operational I feel extremely let down.Read full review...

Great value family Tablet built for future

We have 4 for all the kids, iPad 2 and iPad mini, these never lose much value if it’s looked after, built with internal features to last years, capable of playing any games, YouTube and everything else, even add a program simply to play all movies and tv in great quality. Me and the wife have Mac Pro after iPad 2 and Airs over the years, we would never go back to Android, even our phones are Apple.Read full review...

These IPads have been deemed by Apple to be obsolete and outdated now, therefore they will not update to any IOS past 9.35 it means it's a catch 22, many apps won't install because it isn't running the latest and greatest IOS essentially what you will end up with is a web browser with a camera. If you look at it that way you won't be disappointed. If you want the latest apps and expect an all singing all dancing tablet forget it. It's not going to happen. 3G worth paying extra? you bet!!!

What can you say; sets the level for all others to achieve! Wanted one for a while and finally justified it to myself. Great bit of kit that makes the laptop redundant. Magic best thing ever invested in

Bought this Ipad2 for the wife as a birthday pressy with hundreds of pounds saving compared to other retailers prices, she loves it and it has made life so much easier for both of us.
It now enables me to have more time on the computer as she is able to do most of her things emails, facebook, and internet from the Ipad2 so we can both get things done,

**Warning** The only down fall now is i have to drive everywhere as she wont leave it alone she even takes it in the car with us, so if you dont want to be in the driving seat beware.Read full review...
