Reconditioned Apple iPad 2. As good as new.

I was surprised at the quality of this product. I had expected a reconditioned model with scratches and other signs of pre-use but in actual fact it looked like new. It has everything I wanted at a very good price. I placed the order on line and it appeared on my doorstep at the speed of light. Highly delighted with the product.Read full review...

Superportable with rapid boot-up, fun general utility device

Lovely little entertainment device. I have loaded the Kindle, the Financial Times app, and just spent two hours overhauling my wardrobe on it in bed with a cup of tea. I've watched episodes of House on it in an airplane. I've used a Yoga app for excercise. It's so wonderfully portable and boots up so quickly, with iCloud providing data security. I can't say whether I don't own a Samsung Galaxy tablet or smart phone so the iPad fills a hole in my life. Drawbacks include lack of Adobe Flash, the fact that music & videos have to be sync'ed via iTunes (major hassle which means I still own a separate MP3 player), the poor format for reading emails (only about 6-8 messages fit in one drop-down screen, the main reason for giving only three stars for 'features'). There is no insertion point for a usb stick -i.e. you can't use a 3G dongle, but you can use a wifi hotspot created via an app on a smartphone, so you don't have to buy the 3G version if you already own a smartphone. I'm only two months into using it, haven't even properly begun to explore the app world. For "real work" and lengthier emails, you need a PC or Mac - recall that the iPad has only 1GB of RAM - this is why at £430 I have only given it three stars for value for money.Read full review...

Great value for money

Having 'hummed and hawed' for a long time I finally gave in to desire and bought this smart little tablet. For long journeys it is brilliant to relieve boredom, but also is handy when relaxing at home and if one would simply wish to have a quick browse on the internet. Perhaps a small blemish is the fact that it is not suitable for flash media which can be a bit of a pain, but by and large the positives way outnumber any negatives.
In terms of market competition I am yet to use any other tablet so cannot make a base for any comparisons, but the iPad 2 is ridiculously easy to use and is on the whole a fantastic bit of kit. Would very much recommend one

A beautiful gadget that is superb to use.

Apple was my introduction to computing back in the mid 90's and i have always been impressed by the superiority of their products as well as it being user friendly but was swayed over to windows pc by cost and availability of software and of hardware.
After purchasing this ipad 2 I was not disappointed by it's performance and elegance and as expected the ease of use. the iPad was fairly easy to set up. The hard drive capacity limitation takes a bit of getting used to as it cannot be expanded but this is all I could afford and also the software prices and selection are not as good as for windows or android. Transferring data or music/movies is also a little more complicated compared to other products
Overall I am very happy with my purchase and have no regrets going back to Apple but they do have you by the b***s once your in.

A superb I Pad with excellent features that I would recommend to anyone

This I Pad is superb, it is so easy to use and much better than any Laptop. I cannot believe how good the technology is in such a small item. Apple seem to be the very best when it comes to computing and although their items are not cheap, in my view you get what you pay for - excellent. I would recommend this item to anyone.Read full review...

I PAD 2 Bargain. Great value !

After using my son in laws I pad 2 and being highly impressed with particularly the speed in loading and remarkable picture quality I liked the idea of its wi fi versatility to such an extent that I started looking for one on E. bay as my favourite auction site. Imagine my surprise at finding one new and sealed not 15 minutes from my location. This review is composed on the same and I now feel , in spite of my being retired , more involved in the twentieth century. Probably one of my best I.T. Purchases and happy to recommend. I find it particularly useful carting it around as a photo album when visiting friends. Another great E. bay purchase , I enjoy sitting in the lounge and using the same without having to visit the study and the desk top computer.Read full review...

Quite a good product overall

It has quite a few scratches on the back panel, but easily fixable with a nice cover. I've had it for about a week now and does its job quite well for the price tag.

When in use you can see the battery percentage going down quite quickly. But again, I bought it for browsing so dies the job well.Read full review...

Great gizmo - love it!

I bought this product basically because my brother had one and he stated it was so easy to use.
There is nothing about this product that I don't like. Although there was no instruction booklet I've had no problem trying to work some of the more complicated features out.
I only have an ordinary computer in my bedroom and this is by far the better option.

This ipad is the best thing I have bought in years

Why did I buy an ipad? Basically it was jealously, my grandson came round and was showing me his and I just had to have one. I have all my emails directed to the ipad, my photos and videos,(of the grandchildren of course)all at my fingertips. My ibooks, mp3's, mpeg4 movies and my TV series that I can get from itunes are all so "mobile" The 10 hour battery life is fantastic as is the overall quality. I was told that you can't print from an ipad, thats wrong you can, I have bought an Epson SX535WD printer which has "air play" which is the requirement to print from an ipad, it was so simple to set up and gives fantastic results. With the "pages" app it now doubles up as a word processor.
This is a fabulous piece of technology and as you can see I LIKE it.Thanks to my grandson for his guidance but I also used the free workshops at my local apple shop to fine tune my personal requirements.
I have no personal dislikes of the ipad at all. I understand the the newer model is even better but I'm ok with what I have bought.I would suggest to anyone who is considering buying an ipad to get the largest GigaBite model that you can afford cause once you start with this gadget its surprising how you customise it and it becomes a laptop.
In honesty this ipad is the best bit of technology I have ever bought and it was problem free in setting up, loading my own info and photos etc.
If I can do it at 67 years old anyone can, BUY ONE TODAY.
