iPhone 3G near perfect for the beginner / low user 8 out of 10.
The 3g is just so easy to use, I am no mobile geek needing the latest and best, just a phone that will do the basics of things and that's it.
The mobile is so clear and easy to use.
The touch screen is fantastic.
Photographs come out very clear.
Emailing is so easy.
It is such a good mobile at a very reasonable price secondhand.
The only draw back is the battery life is not the best, but that really is the only problem if your a big user.

Pretty Good product
For an iPhone its pretty good. It has apps that you can download for free, you use the internet using data. I like listening to the iPod as well. However, the battery life isn't so good; you have to keep charging it every 6 hours, and sometimes it can slow down when you are doing two different things at the same time ( like listening to music and blogging on the internet ) Overall, its a fun phone to play with, but the battery life is what i hate the most.Read full review...
A weird but retro iPhone
The iPhone 3G, apples 2nd ever iPhone, it’s becoming collectible, especially if you have a matching box to go with the phone. It’s obviously not suitable to use as an actual phone. But as a collectors item it’s pretty fun. There’s lots of old apps and games you can download through iTunes (yes iTunes because App Store doesn’t support the iPhone 3G anymore) The battery life is as expected for a 12 year old phone. But they are mildly easy and cheap to replace. So if you are a retro collector, this is a good buy, and even a good start for a beginner. Fantastic - no regrets to buying
Bought as a Christmas present which went down really well. It is surprisingly easy to use but the battery doesnt last long at at all. It will survive all day if not used and just on standby but if texts sent or calls made let alone playing games or using wi fi, it only lasts couple hours. The wi fi feature is great when out and about and i would definitely consider upgrading at some point to the Iphone 4Read full review...

I bought this phone simply because I fancied a change. I was gathering information about a blackberry but my son said I would never be able to use one (thats because he thinks us oldies are not up to scratch) which sometimes i must admit hes right. I decided to look on ebay and managed to get a real bargain. I would not go back to an ordinary phone, its just simply great. well the phone its self all though very slow was a decent phone with many features its definitely a phone i would recommend for people who are active for me it was great until it all of a sudden decided to delete its own os and brick its self how ever i am going to buy the 3gs in the hope it will last longer than a month because they are great phonesRead full review...
