Apple 4s

This is my first smartphone and it works well with only one major problem so far, any type of use drains the battery severely to the point where it needs recharging daily sometimes even more frequent.

Good Value iPhone 4s

I was very pleased with this phone at first but battery doesn't seem to last very long and has to be charged every day - and I rarely use internet connections. A great product but beware of buying one on ebay

I bought this from a well rated ebay seller who advertised it as 4 months old in pristine condition. In fact it was almost a year old and just about out of warranty and had chips out of its face near the on/off button. After arguing the seller refunded me £25 to compensate. Since then I have discovered that the Apple connector is faulty, the phone does not work on some docking stations and wort drive the tv through the av out cable. I cannot take it to Apple since its out of warranty and I am not happy.

The phone itself is a great implement, easy to use with a good camera and now Google Maps is back a super navigational tool. I use Siri a lot to dictate emails and text .
I have owned a Samsung Galaxy and an iPhone 4 before this. The Galaxy was not a easy to use and felt a little cumbersome in comparison to the iPhone. The 4 and 4S are similar but to my mind the 4S is faster and Siri is very useful. Whether that is worth the £76 extra I paid depends on your usage pattern and whether you have something else you want to use the money for.

For me it was worth it. However I would think long and hard before I bought something like this on ebay again. If I did at the first inkling of trouble I would involve the ebay disputes centre.Read full review...

Not sure if I've got a good deal or not with this Apple Iphone4s

I was very pleased with this phone at first but battery doesn't seem to last very long and has to be charged every day - and I rarely use internet connections. Also I have found a few issues with the keyboard. Sometimes I click on a number oir letter and it doesn't make the 'clicking' sound as normal and I think it hasn't worked. However, it usually appears. Sometimes I can't place the cursor where I want to when doing a txt or email and have to click in different places to get the cursor to finally engage so I can move it to where I want it to be, e.g. if I want to go back in the message to change something. Also when I press on a letter or function it doesn't always go straight into it and I have to press again, and sometimes again! I am worried that I've made a mistake and should have just got a contract ona new iphone rather than paying to buy one secondhand. However, I do love the way the iphone works and very happy that it was quick to pick up on how to use it and that it can interconnect with my laptop.Read full review...

If your an apple fan this is a must buy

I had an iphone 3g and thought it was time for an upgrade so I bought a 4S. The phone is slim but also much sleeker in white, its very attractive I could look at it all day. It is very easy to use and get the hang of, and the apps are brilliant. The battery life has to be the major down point on this phone. It lasts around 24 hours but will be less if you are using the internet heavily. This can be helped by turning 3g off.Read full review...

Great phone!

I bought this as a "running phone" for use on trail runs as my iphone 6Plus is too big. It came well packed within three days and is in immaculate condition. It's the 16gb model 4S - so not a huge memory but ideal for what I need. It has a good quality camera and I just like the general build quality. Iphone 4S review

If it's value you're after the iphone 4S models are great little buy. Not only do you get 9.13 update , this little jem can pack a punch , the smaller screen size means a more compact phone and it has looks as well , Although the 4S model has a reputation for not so good battery life , i found if you have the correct condition cable and good battery you should get a good 36 hour charge. Our iPhone 4S

Was not sure what to expect, when both phones arrived I thought they had made a mistake, both phones looked like brand new and all functions are working well. Only problem I have is how long will the batteries last. At the moment everything seems fine. Left on standby with the odd call or taking pictures the phones last for around 24hrs before requiring a top up charge and we have minimised the applications which use additional juice to try to keep battery usage low. Hence the 4 stars and not 5. Hope if and when the time comes we can source genuine competitively priced battery replacements for our iPhone 4S's because we are both Very happy with our phones.Read full review...
