Easily the top MP3 on the market and for good reason too - Perfect.

I actually brought this product for my girlfriend as a surprise present as she liked mine and had always wanted one. She absolutely loved it. But like i said, I have this iPod and have had for around two years now.

It's perfect, if you want something that can hold easily 3000 songs then this is the exact thing for you. I have 1827 songs (148 albums) on it at the moment and It's just over half full. You could most probably fit 4000 songs on it if you converted them all to a lower bit rate but all of my songs are at 320kbps because I prefer a better quality.

The user interface is the simplest thing to use, just click and choose what you want (Artists, Albums, genre etc.) and click again to play, all of your playlists from your computer are all stored on there too. You can even customise all of the different options/sortings that appear on the screen in the options menu to make it as simplistic or in depth as you like.

the only things I didn't like was the fact that the little controls on some headphones that let you switch song/play/pause etc don't work on this generation of iPod, which is a shame but doesn't really matter.

If mine ever broke I would always buy another one of this exact model, I just love the look, feel and usability of this iPod compared to even top end MP3 players. A great 1st iPod to try out & get my head around!

Well this is a second hand iPod. So considering that, I can't give it 5 out of 5. The battery doesn't last as long as a new one and the features are basic compared to newer ones. However, it does what was advertised and arrived quickly, so can't complain. It's a great first iPod for me to get to grips with and I might consider getting a newer version if I manage to master this one!Read full review...

A great ipod.

An excellent ipod with a huge memory, and easy to operate features. I can store as much as I want on this ipod. The dial is easy to navigate, as is the menu. The sound quality is excellent. Should have bought one sooner

I bought this product as a means of storing all my music in as small a space as possible and so far it hasn't disappointed and as an older newcomer to this type of entertainment system found it surprisingly easy to transfer my albums onto the device, I can now also play my entire collection through the car stereo as well without having to keep changing CDs.Read full review...

Apple iPod classic 5th gen 5.5 enhanced version 30 gb

Amazing ,i used iPhone 3GS just for my music as its louder than any other iPhone made after that but is now full so had to get something else
I was told about iPod classic and did some research and managed to get hold of one this thing sounds amazing and extremely loud and can alter all sounds and volume in iTunes to your liking .
Apple should put this quality in there phones for the price they charge for them I would recommend this model iPod to anyone who loves to listen to music a lot with brilliant sound quality even with cheap headphones.

They don't make 'em like they used to

It's a shame when companies reduce the quality of their products to trim costs or improve margins when new they release new products. I expected more from Apple, whose latter iPods weren't up to scratch. They did the same with the audio and battery life on the iPad Air 2, compared with the Air 1. This could well be the best sounding Apple iPod. The Wolfson DAC lives up to its reputation. The only limitation I have found is that it can't handle 24-bit audio files. That isn't a problem because iTunes can create 16-bit versions of 24-bit audio files.Read full review...
