Excellent so far!

Was a bit dubious of this product given that it is a rebuild and the price, but I have to say it looks brand new and functions perfectly so far. Battery life has been good and the storage available is excellent. Syncing with iTunes has been no problem and all the functions including film playback, music playback and headphone connection through my Bose bluetooth adaptor works fine. Could have been better

The iPod unit works fine, unfortunately, the USB cable provided was not compatible, it would not charge, nor transfer anything to the unit. Also, when I tried to remove the cable, the cover came away from the end of the connector. The earphones were pretty rubbish as well. A Top Quality Product That Packs A Punch!!!

What a quality gadget these "Classic iPods" really are. I've had two of these now, and the only reason why I bought this one is because I'd used my original classic iPod to death, and the battery had all but died, basically. It had lasted 8 years of Constant use, Constant Use!!! Wherever I went I always had it on.

Plus, they hold up to about 40,000 songs apparently! So if you have a huge music collection you can't really beat these Classic iPod's for storage, they're just brilliant for that, brilliant. The battery holds VERY well also with these iPods, and the sound quality is awesome with a top pair of earphones!!

The simple click-wheel design is also very good, dead easy to operate, you just use your thumb to scroll through the settings & press the selected button, simple!

Overall, a top quality iPod product with Plenty of storage space that packs a punch in sound quality.

I would recommend this product to anyone who loves their music as much as I do. It's a 10 out of 10 product in my opinion.Read full review...

40,000 songs.....I will still be enjoying my music in 40 years time.

I love the Apple iPod to the extent of upgrading within a year from a refurbished 5th generation 80gb model to this 160gb 7th generation model, which, incidentally, is not the latest model, the 8th generation is the latest. The 7th generation model is, in fact, better than the 8th as there is no volume cap on it.

The whole design and feel of this model is great as it has a thinner dimension and a nice gun-metal look to it. The features are good with Apple taking its Coverflow idea from computer to iPod. The only drawback I have found is that the album artwork often shows in the menu but doesn't always show when you are actually playing it.

I think for Apple to stay ahead of the market its next model should have a bigger screen and have a scroll bar rather than a scroll wheel. By having a scroll bar and increasing the screen size it can keep to the same dimensions which is obviously classic pocket-size.Read full review...

The i-pod itself is great but sound levels on the generic ear pods was poor. A replacement pair were sent that were better byt still below par. I purchased a gunuine pair of Apple ear pods & the volume was as it should be. Still good value considering the memory that it came with.Read full review...

Great old school ipod.

Excellent portable music player. great sound and plenty of storage space. I've 1080 albums loaded and still have 70GB left free on the hard drive. I bought this one for my son who's old ipod finally quit after many years of great service. He loves it as it has far more storage and better quality sound than his old one. Classic i-pod.

This Classic, I-pod purchased in a well used condition from Music magpie works fine and is quite easy to use both using headphones, or plugging in to my hi-fi; however, getting the music into it from my PC was a struggle. As usual with Apple, no instructions except on the web and not all that clear on how to do it. finally by trial and error I got there and I don't know how.
Not for you grandmother to try without guidance.

I bought this product strictly for music, and with it's vast memory it's perfect. I have more than enough room for all the music I like and I can have pictures and videos. ! Fantastic Product with good build and super storage for your Collection

I wanted to buy an IPod Classic with the large Drive as its able to hold a lot of music and as I have a lot of Records and Cd's some of which will be put on the unit over the years.
The Unit has around 50 Cd's on and has barely used up the memory the software works really will I am using as part of my Imac so its also apple.
The Battery life is outstanding I have only changed in once and its been used for a few hours every day and lasts for ages.
The Colour Screen is really nice and when you have the art work downloaded for your music collection it gives you all the covers too which is nice the Thumb button works a Treat and I have found this is be a really good Music player and worth the money.
The only Bad point and I know everyone will be saying the say the back of the machine is polished Chrome and while this give is a stunning look I would Remmed you get a Case when you buy as the back will mark very easy.Read full review...
