Thrown away my money

It packed up on the second day. Charge didn't keep even when not switched on, dial did not react, in the end it all went dead. Only the apple logo appears eradically and then disappears again. Utter rubbish.Read full review...

Not worth any more than £20-£25

Try and get your hands on a later version if you can, the nano 3rd gen is a good one to go for. The battery life is ridiculously short, the backlight isn't automatic which grates after a while, very hard to get used to, as is the lack of a clock.

The design is beautiful though, and it's very sturdy and can stand up to being dropped, getting rained on, temperature extremes, etc. The wheel is pretty responsive though not as much as the 3rd gen nano and the 4th gen classic.

Get it if you can find it cheaply, but it's not worth any more than £20-£25 max in my opinion.Read full review...

perfect for what i need

got this ipod for when im out on my mountainbike so i dont have to smash my iphone up if i crash. does exactly what i need it to do at a great price. compared to the new ipods the functions are not as good but all i need it for is playing music so it is awesome for me.Read full review...

A fantastic product, great value for money highly recommended!! Didn't come with a mains charger so I bought one for 99p from ebay so not really a problem. Does not come with instructions however I found downloadable instructions for the ipod mini on itunes. When I put the serial number into itunes it was recognized as a legitimate product. 1st Gen Ipod Mini

Solid, and does what it says on the box!

Bought with a view to repairing the iPod then re-selling! (hopefully at a profit, albeit small). Easy to fix (certainly easier than the Nano range).
