Terrible Product

Product works infrequently. Does not make good connection to my computer. I have to keep adjusting to obtain a charge to my Macbook. This product recently got hot enough to burn my hand upon making contact. Do not purchase for your own safety.Read full review

There is nothing like the real thing

I'm OK with this, but its not perfect.

The slide on plug doesn't fit the body of the charger very well at all. So it looks like its loose, or bent. But it does work. And it was a decent price. And when you old laptop needs a new charger, its not a bad deal. Read full review

It came looking like new, and I was surprised.

I would recommend this MagSafe charger. Also, this MagSafe 1 was an official Apple MacBook changer! I was on the watch to see if it was a Chinese knockoff, but it was the real deal. Superb!

Broke down after few months

I used it for my MacBook Pro 2010. One day it stopped charging and I was quick to blame my MacBook, because it was old I though something is wrong with it. I opened it, cleaned, removed/put back battery. Nothing helped. I borrowed same MacBook from a friend - turns out it was the charger. Frustrating. Does not charge USB C for high power (85W) for Macs

USB C connection, which is how any Mac built in the last 5 years charges, IS NOT AN 85W connection! Rather, there is a second standard USB connector which the USB charges from, which may be used for small devices. The high amperage connectors are only for very old Macs.Read full review

Great value

Be aware that this charger isn't the one with the long cord that plugs into the wall. The charger itself plugs into the wall. For my purposes, this is acceptable, since I'm keeping this charger plugged into my desk and won't be using it anywhere else. But if you need a longer cord to reach an outlet farther away, you'll have to use an extension cord. Otherwise, this charger works perfectly, so it's a great value for the money. Great replacement at a very fair price

I've been using this charger for over a month and so far, there have not been any issues. It's a great replacement to my old MacBook pro charger at a MUCH lower cost than you would pay if you were to buy it directly from Apple. It's hard to not recommend this product to anybody.Read full review
