I wanted to love it, but it broke almost immediately
I really like that it works for phone calls, unlike many other versions I saw, BUT it only lasted for 3-4 calls (less than a week). Now it won't hold the headphone plug anymore. There is no click; only springy resistance that pushes the plug back out. I've looked inside with a light and nothing is visibly wrong. No lint is trapped inside. When I probe it with a bent paperclip, nothing feels bent. It's a shame since I was really pleased with it for a few days.
Note to those who buy it anyway: to enable the adapter, you have to find it in the Bluetooth menu and select it. It's called Lightning. Before you do this, it seems like it's completely broken no matter how many times you restart your device.Read full review...

Bluetooth "wired" lightening ear buds
One start dropped because, though these work perfectly well, it surprised me that I must have a Bluetooth connection to my iPhone in addition to physically connecting the Lightening jack. My original connector supplied with the iPhone X doesn't need that. Irritating that with Bluetooth on the iPhone battery with run down just a little faster 🤔Read full review...

Careful
Bought this to replace the one that came with my iPhone. Pity they don't last longer but then I was using it every work day. Maybe I should pull it out of the aux port in the work car more carefully in future.
The new one seems to be working fine at the moment. So far so good.Read full review...

Non ‘Genuine’ product
Description includes the words ‘genuine’. There is no possible way this headphone adapter could be genuine as it doesn’t fit correctly into my apple iPhone 8 lightning port. The plug will not go all the way in and therefore there is no functionality on my headphones as far as the pause and volume buttons go. I have since obtained an adapter directly from an apple store and yes this one fits perfectly and my headphone functionality is 100%. Beware of this product!! False advertising.Read full review...

Not Genuine
This is not a genuine lightning jack. Very good copy but not genuine. Slightly different shaped head and slightly bigger. Struggled to get into phone. But it works

Not iphone compatible
Bought to use with iphone 7, worked when first plugged in then stopped working diverting to phone speakers. Tried a genuine Apple one in my phone and it worked perfectly. Waste of money -1*

It does what its supposed to I suppose
I am no fan of Apple in any way. I have bought my iphone7 off my daughter just to help her make up the money for the iphoneX which I alos ended up paying for anyway.
This adapter does its job for sure, however, the headphones are always crackling .. Very faintly, but its there. This is not the headphones. I have a few headphones and a few other phones. It is not the iphone either as I have used the adapter from a frriend and his is perfect
Is this adapter a genuine apple adapter?
Is it though?Read full review...

With so many fake ones out there, this is a relief
Has worked faultlessly for last few weeks, great value for money too. Appears genuine, if it turns out not to be the case I will amend my review.

Spend £3 more and get an official Apple one
It looks ok, and connects ok, but this headphone adapter picks up all sorts of interference that disappeared using an official Apple adapter with same headphones and phone. Headphones with volume controls and answer button do not work with this either, but do with the official Apple adapter. This was a false economy. In addition the volume seems to go from super quiet to too loud when you alter the volume on the phone, not recommended.Read full review...
