My Purchase
Been unable to properly listen to music for a week due to the actual adapter that came with my phone breaking down on me. Had a couple of these from other sites but they either don’t work at all or I get ‘this accessory is not supported’ so before this purchase, there was a tad bit of trepidation involved.
Not only did the product arrive ahead of schedule but it works absolutely perfectly. No message saying ‘unsupported accessory’ just good ol music coming through headphones.

So I brought this in hopes that it would work exactly the same as the apple version as I didn’t want to pay £10 for an apple headphone jack. I recently upgraded my iPhone to a new 8 and was horrified to find I couldn’t plug my favourite headphones in. Why do Apple think this is progress? Doesn’t work
Bought this as it was listed as compatible with iOS 12 (unlike the others ). Doesn’t work. Comes up as “Dock Connector” with no sound. Went to Argos and bought a genuine one which is compatible from iOS 10. Works a treat. Comes up as “Headphones” and funnily enough sound comes out !
