Don’t rush without researching

My only criticism is that the charging lead in the picture suggests a newer device. I clicked without checking and subsequently received older devices than anticipated. My own fault though. The products came beautifully packaged and looking brand new with almost a full charge in each. Paperwork included and everything very professionally presented. The Gen 2 is a bit slower than the newer models when downloading but my kids are delighted and they are perfect for them. The cases are good but I may ditch them in favour of something more child appropriate to protect the iPads. The ones provided are great for adults but for younger kids, a more robust, rubber affair may be a safer bet. On the whole, we are very happy and my only small niggle is the picture of the more recent lightning charger on the sales picture. Really slow and keeps hanging!!

The item performance is very slow and hardly can do any work on the apps. My little boy has to wait atleast for a minute for the apps to load. Once the apps load it hangs very often. Not reallty recommended as the toddler games require a lot more memory.

Also there is a small line like a dent on top left hand corner of the display so i belive the display was damaged either in transit or at the warehouse

Great value for money

For a refurb it works perfectly well, a little disappointed in the speed I have an analogue tablet, it is faster but only just. Great size

Never had an iPad before, they come on so quickly and are easy to use. Its a bit heavier than I thought, but that doesnt matter as its only for home. The picture is brilliant for sports.

Good value but a little slow compared with iPad Air

Excellent service and faster than promised delivery. This second generation refurbished iPad improves on the original but the current models are faster, lighter and have pin sharp screen resolution (at a price). This is a useful stop gap until I can justify upgrading. The operating system is no longer supported, it should be noted. This has not been a problem so far but I wonder about security updates. Regrets

Pros: great camera function, screen,
Cons: battery life not great; can't download apps because all I've tried (kindle, bbc, wayfair etc, plus various freebies from the apple app store) require iOS 9 or 10.
Have tried to update software to 9.3.5 but doesn't install, in fact doesn't do anything! No message, nothing! GRRRR!
And am unable to set sounds, have followed instructions and selected sounds but ....nothing! What am I doing wrong?? All in all I regret buying and prefer my Lenovo!!Read full review

Way beyond my expectations.

When my iPad mini died, Apple offered to replace it for £160. I bought the iPad 2 for £70 via eBay instead and it’s frankly better than the mini that I had from new. If there are limitations due to its age then I’m yet to find them. Great value.Read full review
