Still a good phone even today

Even though this phone is starting to show its age because apple recently discontinued support for it, it's still a good phone. Most apps only require IOS 9.1 or later, which is fine for this phone.<br>
There's a workaround for apps that require IOS 10 or later, but it requires a computer. Search for it on youtube.

Ordinarily you don't want to buy a phone like this, because a bad IMEI / ESN phone will not work on the cell network. I just needed it to run some apps on my wifi so it's not a problem for me.Read full review

Why buy iPhone 6?

I see no reason to buy a newer phone than the iPhone 4S. It is everything anyone could ever want in a smartphone. Now that they're getting older they're the best value in the iPhone family. If my iPhone 3 would have accepted more software updates I would have kept it.....I hope planned obsolescence is not a factor in the longevity of my iPhone 4s like it was with the iPhone 3.Read full review
