Successful and very useful upgrade for 7th generation iPod..

My iPod's hard drive had broken, due I think to a drop, but perhaps old age as well. The upgrade has obviously eliminated the main problem, but it has also removed long-standing but minor faults with the drive, as well as adding extra capacity. The Ipod is a wonderful device!

Having decided that my CD collection built up over thirty years was getting out of control and taking up too much space the next move was to get an Ipod. The 160 GB version was the best option and comfortably held the whole CD collection which came to about 65 gigabites. In using Itunes I have noted some gaps in the musical history and I now have space to again buy CDs as most of mine are now stored in alphabetical order in a filing cabinet in the attic! The Ipod the size of a cigarette packet enables any artist, album or song to be found in seconds, easily connects to any hi-fi sysyem enables me to really enjoy any artist at whim.

Best ever Ipod Apple produced.Massive storage, excellent sound and so far, my first one bought several years ago is as good as when I bought it.
