RO tap 1/4” fitting

It takes a while to find this classic style of RO tap, and I really don’t like the design of the necks with a middle bend. I also wanted the dimensions to be identical or very close to the tap it was replacing.
This was a good price, well made and almost identical to our old one which was leaking from the ceramic valve. After 8 years!
AFAIK it’s not economically viable to replace just the ceramic valve unit, so this was a easy fit option.
I used the older washers and nuts as they were a bit stronger than these new ones.
I don’t use push-fit connector for the RO tap, and they’re not included, so could be a problem for a new install.
I did actually come across an equally good unit from a different manufacturer who included the extra fittings, but the dimensions were just a bit bigger in all ways. So I recommend you double-check the size you want.
Postage included GSP to Spain, so that was a big price hike, but I reckon it’s still worth it for a once a decade upgrade.
