Nice little water heater

This is not my first. Last one lasted about six years.

Ideal for locations where you just want a small amount of hot water. i.e. garages, workshops, toilets etc and where using the house hot water system would involve difficult or long pipework or just not practical..

Easy to install, just don't forget to put the enclosed rubber washers between the brass adapter and the heater connections.

Because the electrical wattage is only 2kw it can be plugged into a normal power socket but I would always recommend using a switched fused spur whenever possible.

Simple compact water heater

Great compact heater, does exactly what I need in the garage. Can draw a bucket of hot water of it and reheats sufficient for a second bucket within 15 mins. Left on all the time, and haven't seen any noticeable change to my monthly power usage. Highly recommend it for the price.Read full review...

Works well, odd connections

So this device is pretty much as advertised: stylish and compact and heats 10L of water quickly and without leaking much heat or noise. However, I would say that the connections are "unusual". Normally I would expect a unit like this to have a power cable built-in but this one just has (indistinctly labeled) screw contacts inside and you'll need to supply the flex - 3 core, 2.5mm, I would suggest. And then the water connectors........ Well, they're 1/2" BSP so to connect to copper pipework you'll need 2x 1/2" BSP female to 15mm compression brass adapters. That's fine but the threads are so short that the standard ones won't seal without a stack of fibre washers and that's poor practice. We ended up machining the brass adapters down. It really should be supplied with 15mm compression connectors. Please ?Read full review...

Not the first

Not the first Ariston water heater we have bought, but due to living in a hard water area, they only seem to last about 5 years.
However, very easy to fit, quite economical to run, and if bought at a reasonable price, 5 years is fine.Read full review...

Simple to set up and operate

Compact and simple to install just about anywhere you want. Energy rated B for efficiency and delivers hot water in a few minutes from initially being switched on to two sinks. I would certainly recommend.Read full review...

Good, reliable product

At this stage the heater has not yet been fitted. I have used this product before and have been very satisfied and so no reason to suspect that this one will be different.
