Plot Summary:<br>
Movie 1: Predator

Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) leads a small group of elite commandos and sent to a Central American jungle to rescue some airmen from guerrillas.

It soon becomes apparent its not guerrillas they are facing but an alien hunter who on a 'safari holiday'

As Dutch and his team are in the area, they become the alien's next target

Movie 2: Commando

Retired, Colonel John Matrix (Arnold Schwarzenegger) lives an idyllic life in the country with his young daughter.
Somebody wants John to come out of retirement to kill a Latin American President, in order to encourage John out of retirement, they kidnap his daughter.
Somebody just made a mistake!

Movie 3: The Terminator

In the year 2029, a sentient computer called Skynet is trying to destroy all humans, only John Connor the leader of the resistance, is preventing the annihilation of the the human race.

Skynet intends to destroy John Connor by sending a near indestructible android (a Terminator) back in time to kill John Connor's mother thereby preventing his birth.

John Connor finds out Skynet's plan and sends his own human agent to protect his mother.

Movie 4: Conan the Barbarian

A young boy Conan is enslaved, when Thulsa Doom the evil ruler of the Snake Cult, attack his village.
Trained as a gladiator, he is eventually set free to avenge his village and take revenge against Thulsa Doom.

A great collection!

This dvd collection is just brilliant,The Terminator you guys know is one of the best prequel with a fab storyline till this day,film was out in 1984 btw.
The Predator also a classic prequel of sci-fi action,made in 1987,Conan a decent film of one of his earlier Schwarzenegger films made in 1981 and Commando is funny action film in my opinion,where he uses some of the Terminator phases"il be back" lols and a movie with plenty of action from start to finish.No more to say a collection of 4 very good dvd movies.Read full review...

A collection of superb Arnie films

I watched Predator again the other day. Not seen it for years. I had forgotten some of the story.
I am still in two minds which is the best, this, or the follow up Predator 2 based in the city.
Gratuitious violence abounds.
A usual showcase for Arnold Schwarzenegger to show his muscles.
But a good film, even my partner enjoyed it when she watched it with me.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was still trying to make his name when he made Commando.
A film to show of his muscles, and dry sense of humour!
There is the usual gratuitious violence as in most of his films, normally accompanied by a dead pan comment (pipe throw the chest, "let off some steam!")
Not a film I have a plan to watch with my partner, as I dont think she would get it!

The Terminator was the film that turned Arnold Schwarzenegger into a household name!
So made for the part was he that I do not think they should ever try to replace him!
The film is of course full of gratuitious violence, but now joined by his trademark humour, and off the cuff remarks.
I showed my partner the complete trilogy the other day, and her all prejudice was put aside when she saw the brilliance of the films.

Conan the Barbarian introduced the world to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He burst onto the screen as a man of few words, but lots of action, and muscles.
The film is full of gratuitious violence, but with none of the humour of his later films.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Collection

DVD much smaller storage needed than vhs, dvd to replace vhs. Better quality too. 4 of Arnie's best films, great stories, great action, great casts for each.

They don't make em like they used to!

What a bargain boxset. 3 of Arnies best films ever + Red Sonia which is still very watchable (you'll be buying it for the other 3 films so just think of it as an added bonus).

The Eighties truly were a golden age for the action genre and Arnie was the King. All hail the Guvernator!Read full review...
