So underrated - So good - The very best.
An excellent compilation of Genes best known tracks taken from albums; Olympian, Drawn to the Deep End, To See The Lights and Revelations. The selected tracks show Rossiter at his finest.
A combination of heart felt lyrics, beautiful guitar work and powerful vocals.
Essential Listening:
- Olympian
- Fill Her Up
- You'll Never Walk Again
- Speak To Me Someone
- I Can't Help Myself
- Drawn To The Deep End
Keep the legacy of Gene alive and buy their music. SUPERB!
If you like this album consider buying Libertine, the last album Gene produced. Reccomended listening - Somewhere In The World, Does He Have A Name, Is It Over. Heart wrenching music, guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye!!Read full review...
Gene - doesn't get better!
Superb mid nineties guitar pop with indie overtones. The magnificient track 5 "We could be Kings" is surely one of the greatest records ever made - buy this album just for that track and you won't be disappointed.Read full review...
Gene- As good as it gets (best of)
Under-rated band who capture the essence of (grown up) indie music. Quirky;Catchy & Intoxicating in the very best of ways. Definitely worth a few listens to grow on you
