Ideal. Having it extra long enables the even the hole in the ground to be covered preventing rainwater filling and rusting the pole. Allowing space at the top also prevents the poles from poking through the cover eventually. All round an ideal cover for my needs. Functional but not very strong

The green colour blends well in with the garden and it is large enough to cover the biggest rotary washing line. However, the fabric is not very strong and tore within the first 4 weeks of use, It has been stitched and so is still in use at the moment, but there are signs of wear near the top where the end of the rotary line rubs against the cover. Does the job, but treat with care

This cover is a good size and feels well put together. The zip closure is sturdy and the drawstring could be useful for longer term protection. Do be careful when putting this on your rotary dryer though - my cover has a hole in the material where I caught it on one of the upright poles. It's just pushed right through the plastic material. I'd question what this means for the cover being 'heavy duty material' - and I'm now a little wary of how long this product will last given that I managed to put a hole in it the second time I used it!Read full review

Not fit for purpose

This product isn't really fit for purpose. It ripped within a few weeks due to wearing against the top of the rotary line. I tied some twine on it to keep it on the line but it's been getting worse and worse. This morning after about 3 months use it has completely disintegrated, parts of it have almost turned to dust. Protection at a suprisingly low price!.

I actually use this Washing Line cover to protect a 6ft projection screen that I carry around with me as part of my work. The cover was very cost effective and appears to be quite tough, putting up with regular loads and unloads in the back of my car. Cheap and very "cheerful"

I always buy this cheaper covers as for the money you might as well replace them when they fail after about 12 months rather than buy an expensive one that will get dirty/tatty anyway. However, this is the thinnest one to date and is not up to the job. I have had to slide it over the old cover for protection against ripping.
