Floyd as it should sound.

I was amazed by the superb quality of this album. It is pressed into heavy vinyl and the reproduction is almost digital but with the warmth and richness one expects from vinyl (played on my old Linn LP12). With the amp. well warmed up first, the bass is defined and tight, the mid-range superb and the top end, which was iffy in places on the original, is crystal clear. Indeed there is stuff on this album which is barely audible on the original but comes over clear as day on this pressing. The only very minor issues are in exactly the same position on the original 1970's version and I feel are most likely where the limits off the 60's recording equipment were reached back in the day. I will definately be replacing more of my prog rock collection with these recordings. Highly recommended.Read full review
