Disappointed

It arrived in good condition (New) and functioned properly. We filled it with mixed bird seed including sunflower seeds and shelled peanuts along with the standard bird seed mix. After several days we noticed that there was very little seed usage. We have 6 additional feeders and there is always a good amount and variety of birds here. The larger seeds and peanuts do not move into the trough for the birds to get at, which in turn prevents the flow of most all of the seeds.
Also; the birds have a hard time getting a grip on the plated perch bar. This morning a sparrow had its head stuck in the feeder after slipping off of the perch. Never seen that before in my life. We bought this (Larger) feeder in hopes of feeding the larger birds, Gross Beaks, Cardinals, etc. doesn't seem to work. The anti squirrel function does work. It may work if you use only the smallest of seeds, Millet etc. Disappointed!Read full review
